Selector:

The Leave Loading rate may be based on one of the following:

  • No No Leave Loading applies
  • Fixed The Loading Rate is a fixed percentage, which is set below.
  • Calculated Rate The Loading Rate is calculated from the Average Penalty Rate at which the employee is paid. This derived from [Loading Type] Pay Items, which have the Work Average flag set to Yes.
  • Use Best Of The Loading Rate is the best of the two methods above.
Load On:

This selects which Leave will attract Loading. The Choices are:

  • Previous Years Leave loading is paid only on the leave that was accrued prior to the start of the Current Leave Year.
  • All Leave Loading is paid on all Leave including the leave accrued in the Current Leave Year.
Calculated Rate Method:
 The Calculated Rate may be based on the average penalty rate for the whole year [Select Pre-Calculated on Current Year] or the Average Penalty Rate for the roster the employee would have worked had they not taken Leave [Select Calculated from Roster].
Fixed Rate:Where a Fixed Loading rate could be required set it here.
Reduce By 100%:Set this to No unless advised to do otherwise by Care Systems.
Load Periods:Set this to 0.
Use Avg. Loading:
 Where this field is set to Yes you will be given the opportunity to edit the Average Loading calculated by the program where the Leave usage process is initiated with the Leave button.
