Age & Experience Tables¶
Age Tables and Experience Tables allow you to set up sets of pay rates based on either an employee’s age or experience. There may be multiple sets of data in the tables each of which has an Effective Date. PayCare automatically selects the correct set of rates based on the start date of the Pay Period being processed. The correct rate of pay for each employee is then selected for each employee based on their age or experience level as appropriate.
Age & Experience Tables are given effect by being attached to a Pay Item at the References TAB of Pay Item Maintenance.
Where both an Age Table and an Experience Table are attached to a Pay Item, PayCare selects the best rate from both of these sources.
