Full Time Hours:
 

This is the number of hours that a Full Time employee would work to accrue the maximum amount of leave. Employees that work less than this number of hours would accrue leave pro rata.
Hours:

This is the number of Hours of Leave that an employee would accrue where they worked the number of hours set at Field 1 in any one Leave Year. Employees that work less than this number of hours would accrue leave pro rata.

PayCare checks the total Leave Hours generated for the current year and, where this is exceeded, a warning is generated for the operator. The operator has two choices:

  • To add the excess Leave Hours to the next year total.
  • Throw the excess Leave Hours away.

Note

The program will not accrue more Leave Hours in any one Leave Year than the maximum set here.

Days:

This is the number of Days of Leave that an employee would accrue in any one Leave Year.
Weeks:

This is the number of Weeks of Leave that an employee would accrue in any one Leave Year. Note there is a fixed relationship between Leave Days and Leave Weeks. These are five Leave Days in a Leave Week. This field will set itself when the days are set.
