Accrual Count:This is the TOTAL number of Counts that must occur to trigger this accrual.
Days Accrue:This is the number of Leave Days that will accrue when the Counts equal or pass the value set at Accrual Count.

Typical settings for the table would be:

4 1
11 1
18 1
25 1
32 1

Victoria

Accrual Count Days Accrue
10 5

Screen 7 Deferred Leave Details

Note there are two versions of Screen 7 – one for Counter Leave and one for Deferred Leave.

This screen allows you set the percentage of worked hours for which payment will be deferred for later payment as an ADO or RDO.

Deferred Percentage:

This allows you to set the percentage of worked hours that will be deferred. For 5% (a typical value) set this field to 0.05.

Experience, Qualifying:

These fields determine how Experience Hours and Leave Qualifying Hours will be dealt with. There are two possible settings:

  • Full Now The full number of hours worked will be used. The Pay Item(s) that pay Deferred Leave should have the Accrue Leave and Experience Hours flags set to No. No Leave Types should be attached to those Pay Items. Full Now is the recommended setting.
  • Defer The actual hours paid will be used. The Pay Item(s) that pay Deferred Leave should have the Accrue Leave and Experience Hours flags set to Yes. The appropriate Leave Types should be attached to those Pay Items.
Leave Days Accrued:

This allows you to set a default number of Leave days that will accrue each time Deferred Leave Hours are accrued. Suggested setting is 0.5.

Note

This is a somewhat arbitrary setting. You may edit the number of days to accrue on the payscreen.
