Icons

There is a set of Icons at the top of each Window. Where there are two or more Areas on a window the Icons will function for the Area, which has the Focus.

Place the Mouse Pointer on an Icon to display a Tool Tip, which briefly describes its function.

Place the Mouse Pointer on an Icon and Left Click once to initiate the function of an Icon.

To see a list of Icons in the left Window of this help click the “Books Icon” once.

The function of some Icons may also be initiated by keystrokes or combinations of keystrokes.

Close the Window Control-F4

Save Changes F12

Reload Database

Reload Drop Downs

Go To First Record Home

Go To Previous Record Page Up

Browse Current Field F9

Global Browse F8

Go To Next Record Page Down

Go To Last Record End

Create a New Record F2

Delete Current Record F3

Open the Maintenance Screen for the Current Field Control-F9

Display the Properties of the Current Field

Display a List of Functions Initiated by Keystrokes Shift-F11

Resting the Mouse Pointer on an Icon will normally cause a Tool Tip to be displayed.
