Introduction

This Help File is intended to provide assistance in the set up and use of Care Systems’ software. Whilst every effort has been made to ensure that the Help File is comprehensive, it is to be expected that additional support would be required from Care Systems or its authorised agents, both in the initial establishment of the software and its ongoing use.

Note

In particular, you are asked to note that the Help File is not intended as a replacement for the set up and training in the use of the software being provided by an authorised representative of Care Systems.

The Help File

The help file is structured under a number of main headings. Starting Up/Closing Down the program, which provides information about how to start the program, User Interface, which explains the mechanics of using the program, the Common Drop Down Menus, which covers the part of the Drop Down Menu which is common to all programs and a section for each Program. These include AssetCare, CashCare, CrediCare, LegiCare, MaintCare, PayCare, PurchCare, ClientCare, RostCare, StaffCare and TaxCare.

The structure of the Help files is displayed in the window to the left of your screen. Click on the “Book(s) Icon” to open up the tree structure. If the text for a particular icon does not display, click on the label for the icon. Click on the icon again to shrink the tree structure.

You may change the presentation of this Window to a list sorted in alphabetical order by clicking on the box at the left hand top labelled “ab sort”. It will change its label to “tree” and a list of all topics will be displayed. Click on this icon again to return to the tree structure.
