This allows you set parameters which control the way RostCare will deal with this Classification.

Costing Rule:

This determines the base methodology for costing - it may be set to:

  • Use Default The Default Costing Rule set in RostCare will be used.
  • Use Starting Time The Group Item that applies at the time the Shift started will be used for the costing.
  • Use Most Worked The Group Item that applies for the longest worked portion of the Shift will be used for the costing.
  • Split Over Working Hours The Group Items that applied during the Shift will all be used to cost the part of the Shift for which they applied.
Payitem Selector:
 

This controls which Day Type Definition will be used where an employee starts work after the start time for a Shift. Where the setting is Planned the Definition is selected based on the Start Time for the Shift. Where the setting is Actual the Definition is selected based on the employee’s Start Time.
Split Shift Interval Minimum:
 

This sets the minimum period between the two halves a Split Shift for it to be treated as a Split Shift.
Split Shift Interval Maximum:
 

This sets the maximum period between the two halves a Split Shift for it to be treated as a Split Shift.
In Charge Interval Minimum:
 

This sets the minimum length for a break in a Shift where the employee is designated as “In Charge” for an In Charge entitlement to occur.
In Charge Interval Maximum:
 

This sets the maximum length for a break in a Shift where the employee is designated as “In Charge” for an In Charge entitlement to occur.
