ACFI Settings¶
This holds subsidy rates and settings that apply to all services. Each page holds details that apply from the effective date onward.

| RCS/ACFI Threshold ($): | |
| For pre March 2008 residents, the difference between the ACFI calculation and the former RCS Subsidy, until this threshold is reached the RCS rate is paid. No longer applies, set value to zero. | |
| RCS/ACFI Threshold Unscheduled ($): | |
| Subsidy Cap: | 1 July 2011 onwards no longer applies. Enter a large value to ensure cap doesn’t apply. |
| Conditional Adjustment Payment (%): | |
| Percentage of basic subsidy that the CAP payment will be. | |
| Default ACFI Subsidy for ACAT Low: | |
| The maximum daily subsidy for a resident with an ACAT approval limited to Low Care, but whose ACFI classification would otherwise be High Care | |
| Default ACFI Subsidy for ACAT High: | |
| For a new resident with an ACAT approval that is not limited to Low Care, the payments system will pay this subsidy rate. | |
| Veterans’ Supplement: | |
| The daily amount of veterans supplement payable from this date. | |
| Annual Cap on Means Tested Fee ($): | |
| This is the maximum annual means tested fee that can be charged to a single resident. | |
| Lifetime Cap on Means Tested Fee: | |
| This is the maximum amount that a resident can be charged during their time in residential aged care. | |
| Dementia and Severe Behaviours Supplement: | |
| The daily amount of the Dementia supplement that can be received on behalf of some residents. | |
