General Configuration¶
This screen allows you to change some of the defaults used by the DBcare program.

The default location shown on the backup screen can be changed to a different location. It is initially set to “BACKUP”, being a subfolder off the normal database location. It can be set to a different folder or an absolute path on the server. |

The method of compression can be changed from this section. |

| Don’t show backgrounds: | |
This can be set to hide DBcare background pictures if they are slow on remote computers. |
