Bank Account Transfer Settings

Setup ‣ Common ‣ Bank Account Transfer Settings

Fields on this screen determine the direct transfer details used for the creation of direct transfer files. The direct transfer details are linked to the accommodation Details tab.

The following fields are used:

Code:

A short code to use to select this direct transfer settings detail.

Description:

A name assigned to this setting for reference only.

Bank Account:

The bank account assigned. This bank account is set up on the Bank Account screen. This screen will have details of the BSB and account number of the account used for transfers.

DDT User Id Number:
 

This is a 6 digit numeric user number assigned by the financial institution. It will appear in the header of the direct transfer file.

DDT Username:

This is the name of the business that is sending the file. It will also appear in the header of the DDT File.

DDT Balance Records:
 

Determines if there are additional lines in the direct transfer file which will represent the business sending the file. Normally this will be set to None or Single.

Single will add a single line at the bottom of the file representing the total money transferred.

Bank DDT type:

Setting this field will add a value in the header of the file to indicate the type. Normally this will be set to “Blank”.

Setting the value to “Standard” or “PreProcessing” will add an “S” or “P” to the file header.

Contra ref:

This is the reference number that will appear on the statement for the business.

Bank abbreviation:
 

This is a 3 digit bank account identifier representing the bank.

Transfer file name:
 

This is the default filename that is used when creating the direct transfer file.

BPay biller code:
 

This field isn’t used currently.
